MMS 3D Engineering and Printing Benefits Food Pantry

Eighth grade students in Jennifer Gream's Computer Science Class learn to 3D engineer and print as part of a 9 week rotation class. After spending the first two weeks of the class learning about 3D engineering and printing, students are presented with various challenges for which they must create and produce their own designs. One challenge during this quarter was a holiday challenge in which students could create anything holiday and cardinal related. Due to the excitement their designs instilled from both staff and students at MMS, the class chose to sell their items throughout the district and give all proceeds to the Mayfield-Graves County Needline and Food Pantry. Pictured, students show off their designs as they present the check along with one each of their designs to Tamie Johnson, director of the Needline & Food Pantry.
