Members of Mayfield American Legion Post 26 and the DAV Chapter 106 recently presented Mayfield Independent Schools with a $2500 donation to assist in improving school safety. The funds were primarily raised through donations from across the country following the loss of the American Legion building in the December 2021 tornado. Mayfield Schools will use the funds for protective film on exterior windows at Mayfield Middle School.
