Spring 2024 Enrichment Trip Destination Announced

We will depart Mayfield on Friday, March 15 around 2:30 am by chartered bus to Nashville.
Our Southwest nonstop flight has us arriving in New York City at 9:00 am. Our flight home will
depart at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19th and arrive in Nashville at 5:45 pm. We should be
back to Mayfield around 8:30 pm. We are taking advantage of the scheduled teacher work
day so students will only be missing 2 school days for this opportunity.

We have reserved rooms at TRYP by Wyndham South Times Square. The hotel is located at
345 West 35th Street. We have reserved large family rooms that sleep 7-8 per room (two
queen beds, one set full size bunk beds, one queen sleeper sofa) plus a few smaller rooms.
Because of the great location, we will use public transportation or walk to our destinations.
These are some of the adventures that we are looking into for the trip. It does not mean that
we will be able to schedule all of the activities.

The cost of the trip is $900 for students and $935 for adults. This includes all
transportation, hotel accommodations for 4 nights, activities, and most meals.
*The cost of the trip does NOT include all meals.

 

We will start accepting the 1st payment of $300 beginning September 15th.
The 2nd payment of $300.00 is due before December 1st.
Final payment will be due before February 1st.

 

Checks should be made payable to Mayfield Enrichment Program and should be delivered to Sarah Dunn at MES or mailed to Mary Seay at 1522 Bellemeade Drive Mayfield, KY. If for any reason a participant decides not
to go on the trip, the money for the trip is transferable, but is not refundable after December 1st.

This trip is limited to 56 paid participants. At least one chaperone per suite is
needed for this trip; however students will come first. Priority will be given to
students in 7th-12th grade. Sign-ups for students are on a first come, first serve
basis.

 

Adults are needed and are encouraged to sign up and pay their deposit,
but chaperones will be determined on the combination of students going and
the type of hotel rooms we have booked.

Students must be in good standing in both academics and behavior in order to
be eligible for the trip. All school code of conduct rules will be enforced.
